ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – SEPT-10-2003 – James Burton co-founder of S.I.M.M. is one of the official Cannabis growers for the Dutch government. The Netherlands has legalized cannabis for medical use and has made the drug available at local pharmacies with a doctors prescription. The government has enlisted official growers so the quality and potency can be strictly monitored. Patients suffering from diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, AIDS, and Glaucoma, to name a few, can obtain a doctors prescription for the drug. (Photo © Jock Fistick)
